Coinciding with the 10th Royal Wedding Anniversary of Their Majesties the King and the Gyaltsuen, the nationwide biometric data collection was launched by the Hon’ble Minister of Ministry of Information & Communication in presence of Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Home & Cultural Affairs, Dasho Governor, Secretary, MoIC and senior officials at the conference hall of Department of Civil Registration & Census, MoHCA, Thimphu. Simultaneously, Dasho Dzongdas and Lam Neten inaugurated the program in other 10 Dzongkhags of Chukha, Punakha, Haa, Wangduephodrang, Bumthang, Mongar, Trashigang, Pemagatshel, Gasa and Zhemgang.
