Training of Civil Registration and Census Officials on revised SDS and Procedures for Issuance of New CID/SR card and Move-In and Move-Out under the PSD Initiative.

The review and the subsequent revision of the SDS for the Issuance of New CID/SR Card and Move-in and Move-out services has been identified by the PSD task force and accorded due approval by the Royal Civil Service Commission as part of its PSD initiative. The PSD task force comprising of members from the RCSC, PSDD (OPMC) and UNDP Bhutan revised the SDS in close collaboration with the DCRC. One of the core components of the revised SDS is the leaning of the processes towards more efficient service delivery. The revised SDS has been approved by the Ministry of Home & Cultural Affairs.

First cohort of Civil Registration and Census officials from Dagana, Gasa, Paro, Punakha, Thimphu, Tsirang, and Wangduephodrang Dzongkhags, and DCRC headquarters are attending a two-day Training of Trainers on the revised SDS for the Issuance of New CID/SR Card and Move-In and Move-Out services. The ToT is aimed at familiarising the Civil Registration and Census officials in using the revised SDS towards enhanced service delivery.

The ToT is held from 11 – 12 October, 2021 at Drubchhu Resort, Punakha and is supported by the UNDP Bhutan through its PSD collaboration with the RCSC.
