The Hon’ble Nangsid Lyonpo made a familiarization Visit to the Department on 4th April, 2024. The Hon’ble Nangsid Lyonpo was received by the Director, Division Heads and other officials of the Department . The occasion was marked by a offering of Tashi Khadhar by the DCRC officials as they could not do so during Lyonpo’s assuming of office.
After a brief introduction by the Director, the meeting started with the sharing of the department’s ongoing projects as well as future initiatives that require attention. Hon’ble Lyonpo covered a wide range of topics during the meeting, including the country’s security and the concerns of civil servants leaving their positions and encouraged the officials to remain and continue to serve TSA-WA-SUM.
His Excellency also took time to visit all service counters within the department, gaining firsthand insight into their operations and interacting directly with the staff. Lyonpo also visited the record room where all the census documents are being archived.
