The department would like to inform the general public that the birth and death registrations in the Integrated Citizen Services (ICS) system is currently undergoing pilot testing for Bumthang and Trongsa Dzongkhags. If you are going to register your child under either of these two dzongkhags, you can now complete the registration process online through www.citizenservices.gov.bt/census/ using your Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials, without having to visit the Gewog or Census Offices.
For residents of other Dzongkhags, we kindly request you to wait for the official announcement from the Department of Civil Registration and Census and GovTech before using the system. Detailed instructions on how to register can be found upon logging into the system.
