On the auspicious day of 14th April 2023, coinciding with the 24th Day of the Second Month of Water Female Rabbit Year, Mr. Choeku Wangchuk was appointed as Senior Dzongrab of Samtse Dzongkhag. Prior to his present appointment, he has been serving as the Chief Civil Registration and Census Officer for Census Services Division since August 2019.
